Volunteering
THBS is operated and organized by volunteers from within our membership. There are many ways you can volunteer. From a one time event or becoming an Executive. Please fill out a Volunteer Form and return it to an Executive Member if you would like to help out.
Executive Positions
Executive positions require the most amount of time commitment. Executive positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Statistician and Membership/Events/Promotions Chair. Executives are elected each year in March for the following year.
Designates
Treasurer designate: this is a once a week position and requires that you be bondable and is a non-executive position. If the Treasurer is not available to attend bowling the designate treasurer is responsible for these duties.
Statistician designate: this is a once a week position and is a non-executive position. If the Statistician is not available to attend bowling the designate Statistician is responsible for the these duties.
Election Committee: The Election Committee is made up of several volunteers from the membership to oversee the Executive Elections. They are responsible for receiving and varifying Nomination Form, Proxy Form and scrutinizing the election process.
Bowler Registration: during the early registration period at the lanes assist the Statistician or Treasurer to process registration forms. The Registration Form is only available from the Statistician or Treasurer.
Graphic Design: design posters, flyers, and other related forms.
Fundraising: THBS holds special events during the year. These events help us to raise funds for our charities, such as PWA, PWA Food Drive and other charities we believe are in need of assistance.
